Still Sick / Musings

I can’t believe that, for over a week now, I’m still sick. Next Saturday will make it 2 weeks that I have been fighting this. It started out with a sore throat, then my nose started up, then I think I got bronchitis, then back to just my nose and throat.

I haven’t had much time to do anything. In the few minutes I get here and there I went back and reinstalled vBDrupal. Been making more progress with it since I realized that it’s WYSIWYG editor works correctly with IE, and not Firefox. I can live with that for now. I’m hoping that over the long weeked I’ll be able to finish importing (by importing I mean retyping and re-uploading all of my media) my old articles from Wordpress, and get the rest of the new layout done. Maybe, if I’m lucky, I’ll be able to get vBulletin themed correctly, and this time nobody’s browsers will mysteriously lock up when they visit the forums.

I also, at some point in time, need to put a new set of plugs and wires on the Jeep. My mileage has been getting worse - I’m now at an average of 18MPG, giving me a range of about 300 miles per tank. That gets me in and out of work twice. Gas is now costing me $50+ per fill up. That means that, considering gas and tolls, it costs me $35 a day (or thereabouts) to just get to work.
